Finally received the call yesterday morning from the pro shop. My New Hoyt came in! It took about 7 weeks to get here so I was eager to get it set up and be able to rip a few arrows. I set up the QAD HDX rest yesterday and got it paper tuned and today got it hitting dead on at 20 yards. Still a lot of work remains til she's dialed in, but I am ready for the fun to begin. I simply love this bow. 28.5" DL 73# DW Shooting FMJ 340 with 125 grain fieldtips
Great looking bow sir! I'm very jealous. It's really sharp with the Spot Hogg and the long stabiliser.
Thanks everyone, ya I'm really really happy with this bow. I loved my Carbon Element RKT, but this bow definitely tops it!
Oh yes, absolutely it does. It's second and third axis adjustments are easy to use and very precise too. The best I can describe it is that it's like having the benefit of the longer sight that's on a rifle as opposed to the shorter sight length of a pistol. An archer who diligently practices can get good with any sight, but the Hogg Father has all the qualities of a competition target sight, plus its a lot tougher. Compared to other high-end sights its 6061 aluminium makes it heavy not only in weight, about a pound, but also in price. You don't really need one to go hunting, but it's a super cool sight to have. I can't imagine using anything else.
I have the same setup and arrows. Mine wieghing in at 500. What are you getting for speed? Im at 274 with mine.
I also shot a Hoyt CS ZT Turbo and thought it was pretty sweet. The only solution I can see is that you should have one of each. I've seen a couple used Hoyt CS's up for sale on different web sights, not so much with the NO Cam. It will be interesting to see next year what the top bow manufacturers come out with. Both bows are super nice!
NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! congrats, one of the nicest setups I've seen. I have last year's CST and still lovin it.
