Gored or shot?

    I think it's a zwicky I'm not sure if I spelled that right but it sounds the same either way.

    Grizzly single bevel broadhead. Those things have been around forever.

    Buddy shot a doe a few years ago that had a broadhead in her shoulder, shaft was broken right at the start of the head, crazy tough animals bone was cracked in every direction. I'll see if I have any old pictures of it.

    The spine sits pretty low in a deers body right there and the lungs extend to at least the spine and above it in many places. There is no void there. If the deer was shot, that placement is actually over the spine and behind the shoulder blade. IMO that mark is too big to be made by a broadhead, looks like a poorly placed rifle shot that just hit meat or he got a whoopin' from someone.
