Sort of an aside, but on the same tangent... I crack up when I watch pharmaceutical ads on tv when they have to spend the last 30 seconds of a 90-second spot talking about the contraindications.
The distrust for an industry that saves countless lives is baffling. Not to derail the testosterone thread... but this is a dense statement.
My wife's a nurse, she would probably prescribe me testosterone ''Inhibiter'' pills... That way I'd leave her alone more often... ;o)
not bragging it's just how it has been in our house since I started getting shots..... twice a day for the last year in the morning before work and at night before we go to sleep.... I really feel like I am in my 20s again.. she keeps telling she is going to get in trouble with the union..lmao
Yep. Modern medicine went and saved my dad...twice. Cancer last year. Made my mother walk without pain again after herniating several discs, saved my grandfather with lymphoma, led to my diagnosis of EoE and allows doctors to scope and monitor my disease so my throat doesn't close. I think some people are over medicated, but modern medicine is far from worthless. I could go on, but I digress. Sent from Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
Don't take it so personally Tony. I know a lot of intelligent people who have said dense statements from time to time. That just happened to be one of yours. But thanks for the compliment, I've been working out. Glad you noticed!
Matt....I know a guy that was stage 4....given 6 months to live and did not go the modern way....diet, refer, exercise, and certain food based vitamins....cancer disappeared....that was 35 years ago and he is still cancer free. Surgeries to fix bones and backs were not meant to be included in my statement....I should have said, "pharmecudical based modern medicine" And your issues were diet related I am guessing? In which case a nutritionist would have served you better, or at the very least, as good
And my mom's best friend (wife of a physician at that) tried an herbal/dietary approach to treat her stage 4 ovarian cancer and died. My disease is rare. Only about 250,000 of us in the U.S. Most doctors don't know exactly what triggers it, yet. Diet helps some, others it doesn't. I did see a nutritionist as well, but without the ability to monitor the disease, my throat would have closed a while back (was close to it when I was first diagnosed). I do see your point, Tony, and I don't fully disagree with the over reliance on medicine, but it has done great things for many. Sent from Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
Just remember guys, no one ever "performs" medicine they only "practice" medicine because what works for me on one condition will kill you like a broadhead given the same circumstances
