Without a doubt it is my fleece balaclava. It is so versatile in the cold weather I won't hunt without it in the cold. My second choice would be the KillZones I picked up from Dunham's last year for 19.95 a pack. Blessings...........Pastorjim
Another vote for Thermacell and my second choice would be a seat cushion I got for $15. One of the best things I ever did. No more uncomfortable and/or wet seats and it also helps keep my rear nice and warm! lol
Short time in Okinawa. For hunting would be my stabilizer straps for my climber, or my bow holder on my climber. Both made by thirdhand archery.
You guys are all crazy. Best gear under $20 is a headlamp, flashlight or pen light. Cause none of you including me can see crap in the dark without one. :p
Or maybe some permethrin,or a decent flashlight as Heckler said.We dont have enough mosqetios around here to make a thermacell worth the money.
For only $20.00??? please don't post pics I would agree with thermacell, thirdhand stabilizer straps or thirdhand bowholder
I think my Manzella gloves/mittens are in the mix. I bought a second pair in case they stop making them. They are warm!
Sharpeye Sam was dead on, around here its permithrin. You cant even think about stepping off of paved ground without it or the gotdamn turkey mites will cover you up.
I guess I don't consider the Sawyers spray a hunting tool. It is a survival tool. I got bit by 2 deer ticks 2 days apart. There was a reaction at the bite spot and I got treated within 24 hours with shots and drugs still wore a hoodie pretty much all summer because I was cold all the time. Deer ticks suck.
