My dad is looking for a green laser for his SR9 as well as a holster once the laser is on.

    Any suggestions?

    IWB or OWB?

Also why a laser...if new to shooting I am not a fan of them at all. It eliminates focus on proper stance, grip, trigger control and everything else that makes one accurate.

Holster outside for on the farm. He asked me to research it so don't know his reasons other than wanting one.

I can research all of our distributors tonight at the gunshop/range (part time gig I have couple nights a week). Will let ya know what I find. There is always the kydex custom made kind. I know of 4 guys locally that do them for like $50, sure someone around you makes them, they are easy to make but some guys make them well while others just serviceable.

I just purchased two holsters from Alien Gear (www.aliengeaholsters.com) The quality is great and they have deal on two holsters right now. Thing I really like is that they are interchangeable so I ordered an IWB & OWB with 2 different cases so I can switch between them easily.

The holster probably depends on the type of laser he gets. Some lasers fit where the recoil spring guide is. If that's the case,
a normal holster for the SR9 is fine. If the holster needs to fix some kind of external laser, that's a different story. I think I would haunt a couple gun shops for the answer.

Exactly! I would suggest finding the laser first then looking for the holster after.
