I'm going to be doing a small quarter acre food plot this summer. But a lot of the seeds I'm looking at come with enough to do a half acre. Are you able to use that old seed the next year? Or are you better off using up all the seed the same year you purchase it ? I appreciate any advise.

brassicas you can use the next year but my experience with other side like clover you will need to re-inoculate it if you save it till next season.

You can use older seeds, but typically you tend to lose some of you germination. So if you decide to use year old seed just up your seed rate a little that year.
