yep you have to watch folks especially on ebay I ordered a temp sensor for my old civic charged $15 to ship fron CA, ..It could have been put in a padded envelope and mailed for less then $4.. A lot of folks charge a flat fee for shipping and actually make money off the shipping, of course some times you lose money on shipping.. I sell a lot on ebay and am lucky to break even most times.

    BUT 7.99 FOR A STICKER?

    RIDICULOUS!

You gotta watch out for the shipping charges on E Bay. I've seen things listed for a great price but the shipping is like 50 bucks. They hope you're not paying attention when you order so they can stick it to ya!

Na, on ebay you don't have to pay ebay or paypal charges on shipping. That's why for the most part you see great prices with ridiculous shipping fees.

Shipping is a killer. Tried to order a meat eater shirt but shipping was as much as the shirt. I don't mind paying shipping but not that much.

Shipping is just a pain for real. Wanted to order something, but shipping is just outragous. Would rather stick to some other things.

there is no way in heck you can justify charging $8 for a sticker that is mass produced and cost maybe $2 to make..

Sometimes the problem is the method of shipment. My wife sells items online and at first she would ship using fedex or ups and it was costing her that much to ship very simple items. After doing research she found that it was much cheaper to ship us postal and even bought a scale from the post office and buys the postage online. Now she is shipping products priority mail for cheaper and they get there sooner. Go figure.

I'd like to clear some of this up a bit. Shipping is expensive. It's not expensive when you're Amazon because UPS/FEDEX will knock off a large % of the fees based on how much you ship. When you have an account with FEDEX/UPS you're charged based on how much you're projected to ship per day/week/month. Amazon hits the max deduction they can get within the first hour of the day.

I just don't want anyone to think that it's the person or company you're dealing with "uncharging" you. I've actually paid more to ship something than the product was worth.

USPS needs a very small flat rate box. I can ship a 13 lb engraved rock in a medium flat rate box for $12.67

it's a sticker,, you slap two pieces of card board on each side so it won't get bent and put it in a envelope postage USPS should be no more then a dollar... I buy and sell quite a bit on ebay and amazon I can ship a hard cover book for 3.99..

I am not knocking the owners of bowhunting.com... this is way most of these type of forums work they charge X and Y for merchandise so they continue to do a show, hunt, fish or whatever, some even have paid supporting membership and for the life of me don't know why anyone would pay to be on a public forum..but if it works more power to them..

Sticker should be free and free shipping too. Just like stupid tee shirts. Why do people wear tee shirts advertising someone else's business or product. They should pay YOU to wear them. Free advertising.
