    I started a MonsterRaxx site, do you recommend anything else as a supplemental food source?

    50/50 Corn/Beans The corn is a filler as far as I am concerned. They seem to like the beans better when I mix it. I only do this on my 140 acre lease that is all timber and doesn't have very many crop fields on the adjacent properties.

    Or you could go with a gravity feed and deer protein pellets. Little more expensive...

    Pretty much in 100% agreement, except the growth in the SE seems to lag the Midwest and northern deer.

    I think the corn/beans mentioned will help along with more sustainable local seasonal mast/forage/goodies (e.g oaks, clover, persimmon).

    We've got some cotton farmers between the piedmont and sandhills...I've been wondering about some cottonseed...

    However it scores it looks like it will provide some nice meat for the freezer.
