I've used both G5 Montec's and Wac'ems. Both are solid performing heads. In truth, any good sharp broadhead works.

My two cents is to get a fixed 3 blade, trophy tip style, and non serrated. I've always used NAP Thunderheads... probably won't ever change unless I encounter an issue with them.

NAP kill zone max is the best broad head for big game.

Depends on what arrow you use.

That's a very opinionated statement. By big game I'm assuming he means elk, moose etc. and in that case the killzone Max would be one of the last broadheads I'd consider.

Agreed. Not saying they won't do it, but personally I'd definitely avoid heads like this for bigger game... I don't see the benefits of the mech head outweighing the benefits of a fixed blade head in this case. Again, my opinion.

Ramcats. Check out ramcats. They are some of the sharpest heads out there and they fly true. I've used Slick Tricks, Grim Reapers and G5. I haven't really had any complaints with them but none compare to the results I'm getting from the Ramcats.

I like the trophy taker shuttle t-lock blades.... 1 3/16 hole with the 125 grain and the small surface area and swept back design they dont catch the wind, flying true in all conditions... only problem is the swept blades make sharpening them a real pain... most often just end up buying new ones when needed

I like my fixed blades. I used G5 Montecs this year, and they were fantastic. Shot a 210lb buck and he dropped 30 yards from where I shot him. Shot a doe at 55 yards with the same broadhead I killed the buck with and she only ran 12 - 15 yards before she fell over. That being said, you could have the best broadhead in the world, but poor shot placement is what will screw you over.

Another vote for Trophy Taker Shuttle T-Loks. Fly
great, outstanding penetration. A very deadly
broadhead. I don't try to resharpen, replace blades
    when needed.

Any good cut on contact head head should work fine. Make sure it's as sharp as can be. I prefer Magnus Buzzcuts.
