i am planning on buying some of these arrows, but is .001 straightness and +/- .5 grains worth $65 more than .003 and +/-2 grains. i have shot FMJ's they are .002. i dont really notice a difference for the money i spend, but is .5 grains a huge deal?

I dont notice much diff between .001 and .006 and the weight barely makes a diff either for me so long as its within 5 grains per arrow.

But if you want to get really pro, then you would def want to buy arrows between .001 and .003.

My next arrows will be .003.

Out of a standard hunting setup you will not see a difference. Save your money and but the XT

The 32 and 35 blow anything Mathews has out of the water. I've only shot the Carbon Spyder 30 and it was no where near as smooth or shock free as the Energy's. By far the Energy's have been the best 2014's I've shot so far. I'm waiting to get my hands on the new Prime Alloy and a couple other bows though.

You will see no difference hunting. Xt's are a great arrow.
