Didnt find a forum area for outer wear clothes. Looking for some boots. Would really like some year round waterproof boots if i can get away with it. Any help? Bass pro is over an hour away. We have an academy down the road and thats it well anotehr sports shop but they are very pricey there. Bad over priced. Thanks
Danner East ridge boots have been my favorite this past year... I also where Kenetrek gaiters with them. If you have never used gaiters, after a few muddy or rainy hunts you will be a convert.
Muck boots, they have a bunch of different temp ranges. I have ones that are 70 to -20 i believe and if its early season I have some some Red Head boots that have lasted 4 seasons and need to be retired
I have a pair of gander mountain insulated rubber boots, 2400 gram. They work really good and have lasted 5 years so far. Beefie
I'm all for MUCK hunting boots. I've had mine for 4 years now and have never had wet feet while wearing them and have never had cold feet wearing them. I payed $130 for them brand new and they were a great investment. What I like most about them is their light weight, durability and comfort. The only thing I don't like about them is if I'm doing a lot of walking on rougher terrain they hurt my feet after awhile because they don't give you the support you would with most hunting boots with laces.
Has anyone used the Muck Arctic Pro? I'm in the market for new boots. I'm torn between the Lacrosse arrowhead 7mm or the Muck Arctic Pro.
I really like my Lacrosse aeroheads, Seem to do well with one pair of wool socks in 20° weather. May be a little much for warmer weather boots
I have a pair and they are the best boot i've ever owned. I wore them when it was -31 with the wind chill and I stayed nice and warm. I like how comfortable they are too. Very good boot!
I've got close to 100 miles on a new set of Cabelas 10" Perfekt Hunters now. By far the best boots I've owned. I'll never go back to wearing rubber or neoprene boots unless there is a specific reason to wear them.
