Where's a good place in the north metro area MN to get a Mathews helim setup and tuned for me. I picked one up used and may need to get the draw length changed, it's supposed to be my dl but I think it may be a bit long.

I went there one time to buy deer pee, he sells it frozen. He mentioned he was a Mathews dealer, I told him I like my bows a little faster. He wanted to tell me about all the TV hunters that use his product, I told him I don't watch TV hunters. The deer did not react to the pee he sold me either.

Well I brought it to capras, nothing really to change although we did switch it to the smaller draw stop. I shot about 100 arrows and it sure is smooth and shoots good.

You do realize that until last year mathews has been making bows faster than bowtech. And bowtech hasn't even surpassed them.

Mathews and bowtech. Mr5 360 FPs bowtech RPM 360 fps. And mathews broke the 360 mark way before bowtech did. So it is fact that mathews is every bit as fast as bowtech. And bowtech has not surpassed them in the speed game. If your going to hate on a bow company at least et the facts right.

See that's the point I didn't hate on Mathews you just took it that way. I did go to the website and did not see anything above 340 except dual cam bows.

Not really N. Metro, but I've been into Archery country in Rodgers a few times and they seemed really nice. I haven't had them work on anything for me though.

On the plus side, Cabelas is right there :tu:

There is one guy in the Rogers Cabelas archery department I trust the rest I would not trust them to even cut arrows for me.

I like the guys at Archery Country. I had some work done on a Mathews I used to own at the Princeton dealer and had to take it somewhere else when they were done with it :(

    Thanks for the info!

The guys at archery country in Rodgers are decent. I've had a bit of work done on my older 2006 bow a few times.

Wouldn't the shop in Saint Cloud be closer for you?

Yeah it's 15 min from me... But I actually had a bad experience there one time.

I drive to the cities for work and drive by the Rodgers Archery Country every day. Stopped there and had a much much better experience than St Cloud. Don't think I'll go to the St. Cloud one again.

I have heard nothing but good stuff about bwana. I also personally like average joes in coon rapids. They will take care of you for sure!

They must have hired some new people since I was there last. I took my business to A-1.
