Not the best pic, but I love my HTR with the QAD HDX and HHA optimizer lite ultra.

Awesome looking bow Tandin! I know it's hard to get good pics using an iPhone, especially because of the aspect of a iPhone camera and the size of the bow.

I bought the same bow! I put on a Trophy Ridge 3 pin Hit Man. I will remove two or the 3 pins and maintain a one pin sight, zero to 25 yards!

Is it just me or does it look like that no cam wont fit in that case? Looks like it hangs off the sides a few inches each way.

I shoot the opposition rest and I like it a lot. Rock solid, and full arrow containment. I would recommend it to anyone. But others will have their doubts about it until they shoot one for them selves

Lol well, my wife went and picked it up for Christmas and she bought the one for the Heli-m. So I'm waiting till after the ATA show to see what skb brings out. After the show I will go get another one. But no, it will not fit!

Thank you! I absolutely love it! At first I didn't really care for the look, but it really grew on me. And the way it draws and shoots really sealed the deal for me.

Andy, how did you hear about the Schaffer rest and what other rests have you tried?

Heard about it through a buddy's dad who has it on his bow. Then I went to Schaffer and talked with Jon himself about it. I live in Prescott Wi so it was not far. I have only had whisker biscuits on my bows. 100% lifetime warranty made in the USA. It quiet, tough, and works flawless. I have had it dropped in the snow and it still performed did not freeze up. Go talk to the guys at the shop they will install it and dial it in for ya.

Andy, thanks a lot man. I live in Burnsville so Schaffer Archery is only ten minutes away from me. I'm impressed by the Schaffer Opposition rests indestructibility and small number of moving parts. There's really nothing that can go wrong with the darn thing. It's looking better to me by the minute.

I've set up a couple HTR's with a Limbdriver rest. Simple set up and easy to tune. Also, check out BlackGolds line of sights. Great company to deal with and great products!!

SCFox, what did you think of the HTR compared to some of the other flagships out there this year?

With everything this bow has to offer, IMO, it's the best bowhunting rig I've shot. There are bows out there that are faster, but none are quieter or offer less post shot vibration. I like how the DC is light up front and builds to the wall. That's what I want from a hunting bow.

I hunted with a ChillR this year and liked the bow a lot. It's faster than the HTR, but not near as efficient. Out to 30yds, there is zero penetration difference between them. I think you will love your new bow!

image.jpg image.jpg Just a closer look at some of the engraving on the Mathews walnut grips. I like the way the walnut fills the hand more than the new Focus grips. Personal preference of course.

I guess I'll have to demo different rests so I can be sure which one I like the best.
