Seems to me like it would serve as a secondary camera angle on the hunter while he shoots. Hunting videos show the shot on the deer, and it seems like to use it correctly you'd have to put the tracking device on the deer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I was watching an old episode of solo hunter today. Poor Remi was just having a hard time doing the filming and making the shot on spot and stalk muley's. He was getting on several good deer but just kept having problems on getting the shot with the bow and camera. After watching the video on the soloshot, I thought something like that would've worked great. Like others have said it probably wouldn't do much other than a second angle, but I could see it really working in a self filmed spot and stalk type situation.

Very cool concept. I can't see it being used during bow hunting unless you put the transmitter on the hunter when tracking the deer. You have to remain in the line of sight of the camera or other wise the camera will film the trees/bushes you have walked into to search for the deer.
Cool idea, it will be neat to see how the hunting shows use it. It would be neat to have it on a deer, but very unrealistic. How would you get it on and off a deer every 4 hours? lol Beefie
I may actually buy this. Not sure how many soccer, football, and baseball games I have missed because I was the camera man. Could see a really big benefit to this at school programs too. Set the tripod up, turn it on, and walk away! Awesome if it works well!!!
