Another vote for Lone Wolf. I have the sit and climb, hand climber, and Alpha and sticks. All are awesome stands. Lone Wolf is all I use.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I checked out the LW, and will look into the Summits also. Probably pick one up over the next few months. Another few hundred dollars shouldn't hurt anything right?:o

Summit Titan for me. Awesome stand and has plenty of room.

I have a Viper and my hunting partner has a LW. I wish I could go back and purchase the LW!

The Viper is extremely comfortable, but louder, heavier and more akward to carry than the LW.

Just my two cents. You can't go wrong either way.

I just did the same. I had decided to sell the flip top seat if I didn't like it. Tried it out this afternoon and there is NO way I am getting rid of it! Any extra weight is minimal and not noticed at all. This stand packs as well as the other LW's I've owned, is very quiet and the seat is comfy. What impressed me the most was while climbing the flip top seat is NOT in the way whatsoever. This stand should last me several more years and by then I'll probably be too old to be in a tree.....lol.

I have the summit Goliath because I am not a small man. And I can easily sit 6 hours I haven't tried an all day sit yet.

I have had Summits for years (six of them) and they are quiet and rugged. All day sits are very comfortable.

I've had a summit openshot for 4-5 years and just finally added thirdhand stabilizer straps and bowholder and it's like a new stand. I'd highly recommend the straps at a minimum both for the rigidity they add to the stand once setup as well as the ability to tighten it down while packing in/out which makes it much quieter while walking.

I've had/have summits and I just don't like the way the pack. Its like carrying your kitchen chair on your back the way the thing sticks out. They are comfy though. I also don't care for the cable system, especially the new ones.I've been using an older big game stand that I like.

I love my Summits and I'll be another one in a heartbeat, but those two points are my only two complaints. My Viper (first gen version) doesn't pack flat which can be a nuisance in brush and thick spots, but isn't the end of the world. The cable system is a double edged sword to me. I like it for climbing, but it's hard to be 100% silent when setting it up in the dark... again, not the end of the world.

Comfy, yes, but you forgot to mention they're heavy and noisy. I think it's time for you to come from the dark side and get yourself a LW? lol

Summits are hard to beat, LW packs better ...but summit beats in every other respect.
