Awesome write up Trevor! Congrats on the success, looks like a blast! I cant even imagine what a trip like that cost :O ps: your beard makes me scratchy :D
I don't mind sharing... I have just a hair under $5k in this fall when it's all said and done. Had that much left over from the sale of my lawncare business in 2012 and planned for one all out fall. I know guys who spend more on a lease and food plots annually. Time off is always the biggest hurdle for trips like these, which is why I took advantage of my last free break ever to go all out.
Goes to show what smart planning and preparation can get you for your money. Oh, and a college-student schedule :D My wife had a few friends that did rotations out west. She wouldn't bite. I was trying for a fall rotation, that way I could go "visit" her.
I'm most impressed by the number and quality of friends you have acquired at such a young age. Few realize the importance of a partner that you can truly count on in wilderness situations. Wilderness hunts are not a place to prove your manhood or take un necessary risks, harm to either one of you means the hunts over for both and survival is the most important aspect of each day. It looks like you choose yours well. The pictures are fantastic, and the hunts are the things dreams are made of, I'm sure you're planning on more in the future, good luck and I hope you take the time to write about them, as I truly enjoyed reading about your adventures. Thanks for sharing .
You experienced more in this fall than most people will in an entire lifetime of hunting I can't even begin to describe who cool this is. Thanks for posting.
You're only how old?! All kidding aside, that is a trip of a life time for most. I couldn't even imagine doing it at your age! You definitely have friends in right places for it only to cost that! Congratulations indeed. Beautiful pictures. When will your tv show come out?
