Sorry I haven't checked in much. Been working a ton and the little time I do spend on BH.com has been with the general population in the hunting section. I am going to take my bow to the woods Monday. Might be my last sit since I'm a wuss and dont do cold weather well but well see. Will try to get us at least a doe before I head back to Ohio for work. Hope you have all been doing well and gearing up for the holidays with family. I personally can't wait for Christmas. Love this time of the year. Will try to keep in touch more team. Sorry I've been a bum.

Late archery season in NY Southern Zone opens Monday. I'll be out Tuesday afternoon (hopefully in my blind) over the cut corn field trying to spear a doe with my archery equipment.

Well this season turned out to be a bust... tag soup! Well the location "was" a great location to hunt.. so much so that apparently that it was found by a few other hunters.. Now this spot.. is .5 miles into the woods then a 1 mile hike to get back to my spot.. where i've had 3 different bears on camera, a huge 8 pt small 6 a 3 and a spike plus does, rabbits, fox, coyote and turkey all on camera under my stand area. unfortunately not there in the times that i was... it will be left alone till next year end of summer.. Bummer that i wasn't able to contribute to the team.. To all that have been able to fill tags. Congrats!! well done!!

At least you tried, had fun and can look forward to next year with optimism. This is my last week to hunt before it ends... so hoping I can contribute.

Im still goin for it fellas hoping to seal the deal on a late season buck at the chimney as the abundance of food sources become less reliable to deer there getting out looking for places to eat an the chimney is gonna be my spot of choice im hoping to go in there like Santa lookin for cookies an milk an hit the jackpot on a mature buck I got plenty sign that their there its only a matter of gettin to the stand this weekend on earlier. Im hunting until this season is up which is 1/14 so good luck to everybody still at it because my hopes are high.

Well guys, I gave it one last try this past weekend but I was unsuccessful. I saw 5 deer and 40 or more turkeys but nothing within range.

Still had a great year, took a doe on opening day of archery and saw more mature bucks than ever. The bucks did not cooperate this year but that means the survivors will be even bigger next year.

Good luck for those of you still hunting but I'm done for 2015.

I sure wish NY Season wasn't over. Still trying to talk a couple Amish Guys into heading to MD, but no luck so far.
