Just wondering if any shots with both there eyes open? I know plenty of people that do it trap shooting but I have never heard of anyone trying with a bow. I think it would really help me in low light which I have had a little trouble with for the first time this year.

Lots of folks shoot bows with bow eyes open. I shoot everything with both open. It takes an adjustment but I like it much better.

I find my target with both eyes open then close the left to make certain the peep is centered on the sight ring.

I would but I am left eye dominant shooting right handed. I really need to switch to lefty but I've been putting it off.

When I shot a trap league is when I learned to shoot with both eyes open then I carried it over to everything else besides when using a scope.

I shoot with both eyes open the majority of the time. On spots I will sometimes close my left eye just to make sure I am on, but open it before shooting.

I do the same thing. I usually close my left eye until I'm on my spot, then open it and shoot with both eyes open.

I believe most archery coaches teach shooting with both eyes open. In bowhunting, its especially beneficial because it give you a larger field of view. When I shoot, I squint my left eye to ensure I have proper alignment with the peep and sight housing, but its open after that. I've tried closing my left and it simply feels odd now.

I couldn't imagine shooting with only one eye open. With only one eye open, you lose depth perception and a larger field of view

I shoot a bow with both eyes open, and its very helpful. Some love it some hate it. You should try.

I'll try. I shoot firearms both eyes open. Closing my eye was a habit I just formed early in archery.

Yes, both eyes open....and watch the arrow into the target. And keep your hands and head still, until you see the arrow hit.

Thank you all for your comments. I am strong left eye dominent shooting right handed so I am afraid my eyes will adjust me off target. Probably going to try in the off season to start both eyes open right handed and if I struggle after a month or so I may try to shoot lefty!
