I may be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure hoyt is not offering the turbo models in 80. Either the carbon zt or nitrum. But the 30 and 34 for both are available. That's why Cameron hanes is shooting an 80 pound nitrum 34 this year.

I would love to have a bow with a draw weight in excess of 80#. My bows are maxed out at 71 and 73 lbs respectively. I had a guy bet me one day I couldn't pull a bow at 81# back and not strain. I did it while sitting on the floor! If I ever find one that I like shooting, I will buy it on the spot! Good Luck in your search!

How do the 80lb bows shoot at like 73-74 lb range. I was also maybe interested in getting and 80lb bow but maybe turning it down a bit so that I could have a little extra compared to the 70lb

Why shoot a heavy bow, well at least for me, I have never been on a hunt and thought to my self "when I hit that deer, I wish I wouldn't have got so much penetration". Now I don't shoot a 90lb bow. I actually just got rid of a bow that drew 75lb for a bow that draws 63lbs. I think guys spend to much time worrying about the poundage and not enough time tuning and shooting. If ya draw over 70 you have ego problems, and below 60 your a girl. Why is this and why does it matter. I have no problems shooting 80, but I bought my bow used and it was a 50-60lb bow. Not a big deal to me, if it was a 70-80lb bow I still would have bought it. BTW I really like hoyts heavy poundage bows. my Hoyt Katera was 80lbs and I loved it.

There was a time that if my z7x had 80 pound limb options I would have made the change. I can pull 70 back extremely easy... even in stand, cold... yada yada yada... Now I'm lazy and have been thinking about reducing haha.

Covey Master I believe has an 80 pound element. You might PM him and see what his thoughts are.

I shoot an 80lbs Elite E32 and currently have it drawing 81lbs I love the way it smashes bone with the 488grn arrows I shoot. It sounds like a .22cal going off when it hits the ribcage

The new Safari is a sweet drawing bow at 80 lbs. If you can find an older Mathews custom Safari, those will go up to 100 lbs.
