Soo as im leaving the house for work this morning i caught a glance of something laying in my back yard. After further inspection i realize it is my Glendel buck bow target. It has been torn to pieces. The only thing left standing were the 2 legs which were mounted to a 2x8 with 2 2x4 feet attached for stabilization. When i got out of my truck and walked closer I found multple buck tracks all around the target base and even a hoof print which had marred the surface of the 2x8. The rut is in full swing here in Va and im guessing someone wanted a challenge last night. All this occurred 30yds from my back deck.
I've had this very same thing happen 3 times. We also use to have a small porcelain buck (yard art) out front. I gave up super gluing it back together.....
I don't have a decoy but I was seriously considering putting out "Bucky" my target this weekend. I took vacation Thursday and Friday and will be hunting Thursday-Sunday. I've never hunted with a decoy.
