Soo as im leaving the house for work this morning i caught a glance of something laying in my back yard. After further inspection i realize it is my Glendel buck bow target. It has been torn to pieces. The only thing left standing were the 2 legs which were mounted to a 2x8 with 2 2x4 feet attached for stabilization. When i got out of my truck and walked closer I found multple buck tracks all around the target base and even a hoof print which had marred the surface of the 2x8. The rut is in full swing here in Va and im guessing someone wanted a challenge last night. All this occurred 30yds from my back deck. IMG_20141118_073440_624.jpg buck.jpg

Dang vandals. Nothing is safe anymore. I'd be setting stand on your deck tonight.

Guess you've officially confirmed that deer decoys work well in your neck of the woods...

I've had this very same thing happen 3 times. We also use to have a small porcelain buck (yard art) out front. I gave up super gluing it back together.....

Better put him in the shed a night, or at least during the rut. Ha

I don't have a decoy but I was seriously considering putting out "Bucky" my target this weekend. I took vacation Thursday and Friday and will be hunting Thursday-Sunday. I've never hunted with a decoy.
