    Settled back in stand where the Buck i have been after breed a Doe for the camera yesterday! Gave it a break yesterday eve and had s shooter show up in lock down with a Doe at 80 yards. I wad trapped in stand for awhile until it got pretty dark then i slid out of there. Its 25 this morning with a cold stiff breeze. Brrrrrr

    Snow and the rut. Gotta love it.

    Well, except for my glove is at base of tree. Luckily not my bow hand though.

    I'm not out there today, but I must say reading about all this cold weather and bucks cruising, is making my heart do slight palpatations.

    Off topic a bit. Yesterday I saw the largest tree ive ever seen on the place ive hunted for 15 years. The pics dont do it justice. The trees in the background are your normal 12-15 inch healthy trees. Take about 6-7 real healthy oaks and put them together....that big. I stood there for ten minutes admiring the tree.

    Boys moved me a bit ago... Says I'm in a killing tree. I sure hope so, rife season starts Saturday... I gotta get this thing done today or tomorrow.

    Doe and fawn come out to my south. Of course the west wind decided to switch to north. They took off into the woods tails flagging. Didn't see anything with them.
