Back on stand. 70 degrees and I lost 5lbs getting to my stand. This setup is so bad it just might work.
Back in the stand for my afternoon hunt. Cloud cover has moved in and its starting to mist. Hope the rain stays away until after the hunt ends.
Been in the stand all day long... haven't seen a gosh darn thing EXCEPT FRIGGIN SQUIRRELS, ugh! Sent from my E6782 using Tapatalk
I'm a wuss, couldn't last the final 3 hours. I just couldn't get warm without walking around. Hand warmers got wet in the rain and stopped working, sun never came out like forecast. I pulled the plug, forgot just what December temps are like.
Had a huge spike walk out in front of at 12:02 pm. First deer of the day. Then saw something cruising through the woods an hour later and just now a deer ran by from behind in a thicket so I never saw a thing. What the heck? Business is picking up.
Just had my biggest buck on camera chase a doe across the middle of my good plot and then back again. I hope she comes back later to feed and brings him. My only issue is this wind keeps shifting
