    Wow! Great write up and heck of a buck! It's awesome when someone can maintain all that history on private ground, but to do it on public is truly impressive! Congratulations on all of your hard work paying off.

    I agree - to be able to keep that kind of history with a deer on public land is awesome.

    Thanks for the great story... When I hear of stories like this it reminded me of similar encounters. And while reading I was overtaken with the same emotion as when I was able to harvest my biggest buck over a year ago ... Great read and thanks for sharing.

    The unthinkable happened this morning... My dad shot Ice Pick at 28 yards!!!! Haven't gotten any pics yet but I'll be up there tomorrow do I'll post pics! What an incredible year for us, two 5 1/2 yrs with bows on public land with NO bait.
