Good luck littlechief, hope you have better luck in ky than me. Everytime I go out I rattle in the same little 4 point. Its happened the last 6 hunts. I cant seem to get a big boy in.
I'm just hoping to get a glimpse of the "Texas Longhorn" buck or one of the two piebald does that have been spotted on the new farm. :D
I shot two does tonight. I will get one officially entered in a day or two. I have also found a pretty good buck to hunt.
In case you guys didn't see it in the live from the stand thread, I arrowed a fairly decent 9 point in Kentucky this evening. Unless I text more pics to someone it will be after the 17th before I can post him on the scorecard. Today was the first day of an 11 day hunting trip. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with this deer. I process my own and hate using a processor. I wouldn't want to keep it on ice for 10 days. I have a friend in the area who will process him and give him to a couple of older ladies (widows) or I could donate it. Option 2 sounds pretty good to me. What would you do? I already have 2 does in the freezer this year and the season is young.
