After getting settled into the stand this morning, a coyote was making his way to me. So I got my bow and was about to clip on my Tru Fire Edge... When I realized the trigger was gone. Somehow it sheared off. I'm back in the tree now after getting my replacement but man that is frustrating, especially when the replacement is just a cheap one.

That is a bummer!! I always keep a spare in my pack. I have gotten in the tree a couple times and realized I never grabbed mine out of the case!

Think of it this way. Could have been much worse. What is that was a buck of a lifetime instead of a yote?

I always leave my release on my bow.

True.... And it was on my bow until I got in the stand. That's part of the reason I'm so confused about how it happened.
