This is a film of my son getting his first deer with a bow at the age of ten. We were lucky enough to have it selected as a top ten in festival for the whitetail division in the Outdoor Film Festival and Tour and can be seen at HunterVids.com which the link I have provided below will lead you to the site. This was by far the best day of hunting I have ever had in my life and am so proud of my son!

    Thanks for your time,
    Shane

What an awesome video! I can only hope to share this moment some day with my kids. I couldn't help but getting a tear in my eye after seeing the emotion when he hit that deer. I'm sure all the other dad's out there can relate. Very cool!

Great video! It tells an awesome story. Much more than just a kill shot. Those videos are cool too but this tells so much more. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys! jfergus7 I use primarily Sony Vegas for editing, and I do use Adobe After Effects if I need any kind of special graphics or anything added, but I rarely use any graphics and fancy transitions. I prefer the cinematic look of a video that has some sort of storyline to it.

    Thanks again,
    Shane

That is an awesome video! Great story! I don't know your son but I got really excited and proud for him sticking with it an finally getting a kill! A lot of grown people get discouraged after losing deer or missing but your son just proved what dedication can do! II am happy for you both and although I am many years away from hunting with my kids (because I don't have any yet ha) I hope that I get to share this moment with them!

Thank you everyone for taking the time to watch this and giving such great comments! My son loves bowhunting, which is awesome! He has already filled his tag from this season, which I was lucky enough to get on film again, and the emotions never change for me or him! I cant wait to share that hunt with you all also. Thanks again for your time and comments, we truly do appreciate it!
