Interesting that you nocked the PileDriver with the HellRazor and not the Killzone.....just wondering. I love them both.... if I think I will see a doe or a coyote first I go with a thunderhead.....a buck, then I go with the Killzone, but I am just wondering?

 

I love the Hellrazors, and truth be told, the only reason I have a KillZone with is that there's space in my quiver.

I think the Killzone is the best mech-head ever! Love the Hellrazor but feel very comfortable in my Thunderheads! So I do understand. How about an update

 

It's been fairly slow. Still misting off and on. Had 3 hooded mergansers land on the pond for a bit. Two males and a female.

Wind is calming a bit, so that'll help keep me warm.

Meanwhile I sit, waiting.

 

Now I'm just watching a muskrat messing around in the pond.

 

Dang. Just missed getting a little short tailed weasel on film. Quick little bugger!

 

Looks like the Killing Pond could see some action this year Fitz....you're killing me!!!>>>>

Hey Fitz, are you seeing any buck activity by you yet? It seems to be picking up.

 

Nothing yet. Hoping that changes soon though.

 

Fitz are you hunting public or private?

 

The vast majority is public, but I sometimes hunt up behind the Lodge, that's private.

 

Fitz, this season is the first time that I haven't hunted public. The property I'm hunting is somewhat semi-farm land with a big woods feel, and I actually see what I have been missing. However I still do miss the big woods and the intimidation.
