    hey guys,

i had my first two deer hunt this past friday. i got in my stand at 4pm right after work. i didnt even have time to nock an arrow before i saw a big doe walking my way at 35 yards. i had to slowly nock my arrow stand up and draw back without alerting her. at this point she was at 15 yards and i took the shot. little high but ended up being a double lung. she ran off and disappeared into some brush. about an hour goes by as im waiting for her to expire when out of the corner of my eye i see brown. and then some antlers with it. had plenty of time to get into position and wait for him for come into a shooting lane. at 25 yards i let the arrow fly and perfect heart shot. he ran 30 yards and flipped over dead. tracked the doe about 150 yards and dragged them both out. best hunt i have had to date. ive been hunting with a bow for only 5 years!! thought id share :)

Congrats on the double. I hesitate to do that because I process my own, and two is a lot of work for me. Not that I have the chance very often.

That's awesome! I don't know that I will ever have two tags I can use at the same time so that's great!
