That's awesome, congratulations!!! Haha, I have one here on the hoof still that looks very close to that deer and mine is pretty old looking also. Mine even has a swollen spot on one main beam except on his right side rather than left.
Thanks! This is a deer I have watched all summer and I'm super pumped to get him. I shot him at 30yds from a ground blind. He was bedding in a small corn field and was moving out to the neighboring bean field to feed. His head was down when I drew my bow but he caught movement and looked directly at the blind. I aimed low and he ducked right into it! Thankfully he ran further out into the beans instead of turning back and heading for the corn field. I was using rage hypodermic 2 inch. The broad head cut the rib on the opposite side and only lacked going thru the hide. He went about 100 yds.
