That was my point. I have 3 area's where there is no point on passing on a good buck. All the guys next two me will drop him if I don't take him. I have another area where bucks pass through and I will most likely never see the same buck again (after gun season). Two other areas where I would never shoot anything but the biggest trophy of my life.

Hey Team I'm back from elk camp (unsuccessful) although we did see 5 total. I'm officially primed and pumped for deer season now. I pulled a camera Sunday and had lots of does on camera no bucks yet. My plan is to take a white tail doe early off the river then chase big mulies.

My season officially starts Wednesday so I will start getting out so I can whack a doe.

    Good luck everyone

How many did you end up having in camp ? The whole camp saw 5? Is that good, bad, or about average ? Judging by the pictures looks like some very beautiful country if nothing else.

My buddy and I saw 5. I believe everyone in camp either saw or had bugles near by. Was pretty hot 74 degree days and not much in the way of the rut but still a great time

Sorry for all the questions. I was sort of following along with that thread and was excited to see how everything went. Good luck getting after the deer.

Fitz got back and is getting settled in. He said he would fix our name. Looks like he did. My season starts tomorrow. Coming home from the ranch I passed 9 does out. Might have to go sit tomorrow evening and see if I can whack a doe and get us on the board.

Trying a new spot today, 20 acres of alfalfa in front of me... Cool and drizzly so far today, not much action tho.

NE Whisky, that looks great. Is that a tree stand or a ground blind? If a tree stand, how high up?

Hey I was looking at some other threads and was noticing the fancy team pages that posters have on the bottom of their posts? I have not tech skills! Is there anyone on our team that does?

I was wondering the same thing, but don't look at this guy for the answer.

Mosquitos??? How warm is it? We are looking at highs in the upper 40's for the next week up north in MN.

After I posted I guess 67 isn't that bad, but I'll still say yuck and no thank you to the skeeters.
