WOW.....good thing William never came back. After that rant, I probably would never step in the woods. Get out there, make mistakes and have fun. Its just hunting....not curing cancer.
Best advice is wait until next year before you go after big game. The season is only a few months away and your not ready. Can you group all your arrows into a softball size target? Have you mastered the art of scent? Have you scouted your land your hunting and patterned your deer or have the deer patterend you? Do you have a hunting buddy ? Or are you going to be this years headline...BOWHUNTER FOUND DEAD IN WOODS ? This is nothing like gun hunting but it can be the most enjoyable or the most DEADLY ! Theres a lot more to it then choosing a bow. Whatever you do dont go out there alone your first year or you may not come back !
