I grew up in Tallapoosa, Georgia. I graduated from Haralson County High and moved on to college where I attended and graduated at Berry College. My first job and only job for years was working for my uncle’s taxidermist business. At Bud Jones Taxidermy, I was blessed to have a family member teach me about wildlife, hunting and conservation. I have accumulated a broad accompaniment of skill sets, work experiences and knowledge in information technology and information management. I started in the government sector assisting in the preservation and maintenance of local public records in Rome, Georgia. I have also worked in legal and healthcare environments.
Other than my family, my other passion is hunting. At the age of 6 I killed my first squirrel. At 11, I killed my first deer. Working with my uncle, he included me on many taxidermy projects but primarily I skinned deer. So at a very young age I began my love affair for whitetails. During deer season I spend as much time as I can afford in the woods bowhunting as I am an avid archer. I also have very unique ideas related to hunting apps and ways to maximize the marketability of bowhunting. My hunting app project is one that could easily outperform Scoutlook or Trimble’s GPS Hunt Pro mobile app. But most of all I want to help someone learn to love bowhunting and the outdoors as much as I do.
My kids, hunting, veggie gardening, NASCAR, farming and playing outsideInteract
