    I agree with Scoot...nighttime is fine so long you don't set them up where you expect them to reach far into the woods...setting them up with a semi or solid backdrop along trails or microfood plots and they'll suffice....daytime pics as scoot posted can be crystal.

    Scoot I agree that they are a good deal for the price but my $29 WGI 6 year old cam takes better pics. Unless the deer is 3' from the camera the mpe night pics are less than impressive.

    Pro V1, I am glad your WGI cam is going strong for you and the pics are good. I agree the night pics on the mp-e5 are just ok but when I look at a cam I want reliability, great battery life and good pics. The mp-e5 fits that bill in my opinion for a camera in that price range. I really feel companies are putting out better cams now for the money and that's good for the consumer. I didn't have a good experience with the ir4 cam from WGI, I had it one month and the cam took a crap, I had trouble with there customer service but that was my experience with them. Scoot

    Im all about WGI blade 3 and blade 6. Super low cost and very reliable for me. I only operate in video mode.

    I'm confident that you won't find a better camera for $100 than the Moultrie M-880. I've tried Covert, Bushnell and Cuddeback, but none of them compare to Moultrie.

    In other news, you'll get a ton of Covert answers on here. That's because the majority of their pro-staff is on this forum, so keep that in mind.

    In other, other news, Covert makes a great product, with great customer service.

    Pro-Staffers doing their job (promoting a product) shouldnt be a knock on the actual product.

    I've had this same question for a while and it looks from this thread that the Moultree 880 has the biggest backing. I think my local store has it for $120 but can't remember for sure...

    Jeeze they have the Truth Cam 35 on sale for $99. I have one of those and I think they need to pay me the $99..they SUCK!

    I bought WingHome 350C Trail Camera last year, it costs 99 dollars, and it works quite well, the night vision is great!
