I know it's a little late in the year for this, and the season opens the 27th for me, but I will most likely not get a chance to hunt until later in october anyways. But I am considering buying an new bow because it's time. Mine needs a new string and has served me well for the past 9 years, so it is time for an upgrade... That being said what do you all shoot/recommend for bows. My eye is really liking the Bowtech Experience, and everything I have heard about it is that it is a great bow but I am just looking for some more opinions?

I love my Mathews Switchback, but I could never afford a new one. That being said, I would look at a Mission Ballistic. I would also look long and hard at an Elite

Well craigslist holds a lot of hidden gems if you check regularly. I picked up my mr6 set up for $400.

On Lake Oahe some where. About an hour north of Pierre. Not sure of exact location. Got invited by a friend and some of his family that have been going for a few years. They stuck a nice muley last year I guess so we'll see what happens. Little different style of hunting than I'm used to so I'm excited.

Love my hoyt charger but the Matthews creed felt really good when I shot it. I couldn't bring myself to spring for it for my first bow.

Terrible night. Had a bear walk in behind me, which made me stand up to get a better look at him. Upon turning back around to sit down knocked my bow off of its holder an sent it 20 feet down on one of the cams... Got down from the stand and started walking out had a 8 pointer looking right at me at about 10 yards... Just one of those days.

NE Whisky, for me that would be more action than I have seen since Christmas. Is the bow ok?

Bent a cam. Just need to be a little more careful while in the stand, but I guess better my bow falling 20 feet rather than me falling 20 feet.

Welcome huntalot. Better late than never! With huntalot on board do we have a full team or are we still short one or two?

Well deer numbers here are super thin again this year, but here is what I am after.....

And unfortunately, he is the only thing I have seen that is even worth getting in the stand, and by no means is he a monster...

    Post velvet....

I have gotten a glimpse of a few bucks in a bad camera shot ( to far away or at that perfect time where the flash isnt working right with the sun angle) that might be pretty good, but nothing definite

fishingdude93 checking in. Been pretty busy with school but I will be hunting central Iowa and Northern Illinois. I do like the name Nocked up if that hasn't been decided yet.

Oh we are good, we are NOCKED UP

Dingo, I think that buck looks good. A year or two would add some mass and length, but I like him and his brow tines
