The whole way up and the 5 hours of daylight we had when we got there it was raining, and it was 26 degrees the first night and we got 5" of snow. The first full day (fri) it got up to about 45 and the snow was gone by noon. Saturday was around 65 and Sunday was around 60 for the high. Started out bad but I like walking 10+ miles a day in 50 or 60 degrees than 90!!

We walked over 45 miles in the hills on this trip.

Dang man, those are tough conditions! I'm in pretty darn good shape and that doesn't sound all that fun!

Lol weather sounded pretty good after the rain and snow... The walking in the hills. That is a lot of walking.

I didn't mind it at all actually. I walk 20 miles some days shed hunting. I just go, and go, and go, and go, and go lol if I see somewhere that I wanna go a mile away like a high peak so I can see, I just walk over there no problem lol.

Its a lot of fun. Just don't expect to come home with an antelope unless you happen to find a blind one lol.

I had a doe at 20yds in the food plot I'm hunting right at gray light this morning.....no camera light, plus it was still too dark to really kno for sure it was a doe. She put her head down to eat I stood up she looked up this way, and just turned around and walked off. I was actually saying "Amen" for my hunters prayer when I heard the twig snap...opened my eyes and there she was haha, crazy

I found 2 scrapes 30 yards from one of my stands, they were made sometime when I was out west. And I found another one by the other food plot so I set a camera on it. I also found 4 fresh scrapes back in early august, they weren't using their antlers to rake the tree but they were still pawing out the ground and making a scrape to use later in the year.
