How far back is then? I'm 45 and was never beat with a stick or my brother who deserved. I don't care what a 4 year old does you NEVER hit with a stick or anything else for that matter. A spank on the butt open handed or a few ok but a stick that left welts hell no. Also even if you were beat that's no excuse to beat your kid. I had great respect for AP until I heard this. He won't go to jail. A deal will be cut and he will pay a big fine and do some community service if it comes down to that. Also Ray Rice is going to appeal and I bet he wins. From all accounts he was truthful about hitting her in the elevator even with out the video being public. I bet he wins the appeal and is able to play this season. The only question will be what team will pick him up.
He should get due process and if found guilty he should fulfill the full sentence if indeed it includes jail time. If those pictures that are out there are for real then I sure hope he gets what is deserved in jail time. Just my opinion to which everyone is entitled.
