You must be on tapatalk. I wasn't naming him rock. That's the forum code for a smiley face His name will come to me.
Name him stealth since its night time and your running stealth cams. Always fun when new deer show up on camera.
Count Rugen.... that'll be his name. Couldn't hurt to have another Count. I actually shot the last one
As if I wasn't pumped up enough to get up there already Fitz....then you throw in the Count.....Dang!!!! Very cool....Chase and I can't wait to get our schedules figured out and pick some dates that will work for all of us. October....November....for sure!
Well I just can't pass the opportunity to hunt on Opener. Sara get's off work from her part time job at 5, I'll head out then. It'll be short since I have to hang the stand and set-up the camera gear for the first time, but I need to knock the rust off. This will probably be the only time I get out before we Head West on Weds. Yesterday I moved a camera and retrieved the Stealth Canoe from it's summer hangout in our outlet. Now the trolling motor is hooked up and ready to go for another season. I also swung out to one of my cams that I haven't checked in 5 weeks. Buster is looking Gooooooood!
Good luck!!! I can't even get my mind on deer hunting this year. That will change once I'm back from Colorado! When do you leave for elk mountains?
We leave weds afternoon. Have to stop in Rochester to pick up my buddy's gear, then hit the road. Hope to pull into camp with plenty of light left on Thursday afternoon.
What a mess. Though my battery was bad, turned around and swapped it for another. Motor still wasn't running full steam. Turned around again and traded the canoe for the pontoon. Was set up and hunting around 6:40. What a start to the season.
I'll probably just use this one. Depends what I have for cell coverage. If I don't have anything out there, I may just do a separate write-up when I get back.
