    29 more alarm clocks boys!!!
This is at 30 yds with my new Elite, and the other pic is the biggest 2 deer in my area right now. Neither are giants but in another year they will be pretty great! IMG_4795.jpg SUNP0010.jpg

Spavinaw is a good place. Most everyone I know fills a tag there. I personally havent seen any monsters pulled out but I'm sure they are in there.

Hey Jacob, I've hunted Thunderbird last couple years, and seen a couple good 8 pointers. the ranger station has feeders up so they make tracks back and forth from it to bedding areas. haven't had too much time to check out 1 or 2 spots, but just about anywhere is good. Im scheduled to have back surgery this year so wont get to hunt hardly but might get to in October though. More people are finding out about this honey hole and its starting to get kinda crowded, but come gun season it thins out alot

Do you hunt by the ranger station? I didn't know that there was an area we could hunt by it. Have you had any luck at robinson and 84th?

There is a spot straight north of it near a campsite, but the parking is on tecumseh road at the far east end. It gets hunted hard there, but if you camp at the campground it's about a quarter mile walk to the south end of the tract,. Just depends on wind direction. I'm probly going to scout some less hunted areas and see what they produce.

Haven't tried Robinson and 84th yet, although I've driven by it and could be promising due to the creek

I'm going to spavinaw to trek in and scout Saturday. I'll be planning a week long camp, never hunted public land before. I've heard it's an experience, lots of local yocals in there. Can you bring a firearm with you on public land?

I suspect it is not legal to carry a firearm except during deer gun season. the regulations do not specifically address the issue. the hitch is, if you are carrying, it could potentially be used for hunting, not just protection.

I certainly would not unless I had a CC license.

might be worth a call to the game wardens:

    DELAWARE
    Kody Moore - Rose (918) 857-8597
    Marni Loftis - Grove (918) 533-2678

Conceal carry only, unless gun hunting during season with tags.....wish you could especially in bear country!
