Saw a nice 2 or 3 year old 10 point at 35 yards and got some cool video of him. Also had my #1 hitlist buck at 40 yards, there was just no clear shot. I will be out again tonight if the wind cooperates.
My buddy ended up shooting a buck. I only saw a doe. Its illegal to shoot does where we were hunting so she got the pass. Going to try to go out tomorrow afternoon if the weather is good

Today is day four for me, going out in half an hour, had a great hunt opening morning, didn't see any deer last time I hunted (tuesday evening.)
Season opens up the 15th here, and I'm ready! Hung two new stands last weekend on a whim, and put out 2 new moultries close by. Hopefully this change up brings me good luck on a early season buck.
