    So when does everyone's season start? And what do you use.

    Ours is weekend before and weekend after Thanksgiving for a total of 7 days. Last year was pretty bad out, cold and windy, so didn't go out much.

    As for firearm I use a 12 gauge remington 870 with a rifled barrel.

    WI season runs the same. Had the same crappy weather last year too. It was brutal!!

    I usually bring my Remington 30-06 but some times like to switch it up and use my British 303 or 270. My main focus is making sure that my Dad has a good time. We have hunted gun deer season together every year for the last 28 years. The way I figure is he spent so much time trying to make sure I had a great time hunting and enjoying the outdoors when I was younger, now its my turn to return the favor for him. Theres a very large farm and we typically hunt the edge of a field so there are a lot of long distance shots. Dad missed one at 346 yardslast year, but we had a great story out of it!

    My gun season runs from November 15th to December 9th, I think..I will be shooting a Colt .44 Anaconda, an 11-87, .50 caliber CVS ACCURA V2 ML....

    Season starts in October for me, will be making a trip up to my GA lease at the end of October and the begining of November! I'll be using a Savage Axis .308 In GA, and my 30-30 in FL.
