Can't wait to get back out mid week and see how the Round Up did on the first plot. If it worked well then I will be back out Saturday to burn what is left and put down some fertilizer. Also planning to start work on a small kill plot on the same property!

Planning on heading to the farm Wednesday morning to check two cameras and see how the Round Up worked on the new plot! Hope to get some clean up done on it so I can plant by the weekend!

Went out tonight and did a little scouting. Ended up having a stare down with a doe headed back to truck. Other than that didn't see much. Was mostly looking for places to set up stands. Planning on picking some more up as soon as they start getting them out. Stores around here usually wait until just about deer season to put gear out.

Gallons of RUP!? How big of a food plot you planting Ferg!?

I planted our Kill Plots Friday and Monday. Corn plots look fantastic and beans not bad (deer are hammering them, even though we planted well over 13 acres of them. We need rain boys....bad!

Hey guys Im here guess i might as well check in. We have been getting hammered with rain down here. We had 4 in spread throughout last week. Planted radishes on the 30th and they are 8 in tall already. Its like a green house. Hopefully it will keep the EHD away this year.

Well nothing on the cam check but does and coons. A little disappointing but I'm not very worried. That spot is a transition area so they will be there later like they were last year.

I'm going to be scouting the public land more here soon and get into the woods and hopefully find a spot to hunt opening day. There are some promising spots on the aerial view just have to get boots on the ground now.

I get a lot of stuff done each year trying to stay busy not thinking about hunting. French, those deer will do for sure. Hoping you connect with one of them this yr!

Still early in the game. If they are there mid September I might have a shot.
