Sorry about the delay between posts, I had to go to a Pheasants Forever meeting. That 10 is named LaCarpetron Dookmarriot, after my brothers favorite youtube video. He has been coming around the cameras consistently. He used to be running with the 2 and a half 8 that has a strong right beam and one other 8 that was a tad bigger. Is it too early for the bachelors groups to be broken up because he quit running with them it seems...

Also, what are your guys take on the 11? We are wondering if he is tapped out or if he would get bigger next year. Any thoughts?

I am jacked about the talent on the field in the 2 y/o class, we got that 8 with strong brows and tall tines, there is a 2y/o 9 with a split G2 that looks awesome! and there is another strong 8 and some tall 6's that could turn into awesome 8s next year!

I have never been more excited for a fall than this!

As long as we can try to keep everyone from shooting 1.5 y/o bucks I will be happy! A couple of guys in our group aren't quite on board but they don't hunt as much and most of our neighbors are on board for QDMA

That's good to hear on the QDMA, some people just aren't worried about the age of deer or the size, they just shoot the first thing with antlers.

Yeah one guy is a meat hunter, he shot 3 1.5s in one year a few years back since we can party hunt here... But he doesn't hunt as much anymore

Looking good. I like how the foodplots came out. I know its super late, but I gave it a shot planting a small shooting plot this past weekend of some cereal grains, and I moved all my cameras around. You definitely have some serious potential there on that spot! How's the hunting season been going?

I let this thread get away from me but I will update it with the progress from 2015!

Just give me a few days:)

Also Fitz if you happen to read this can you change it to the farm by MnMoose?

Here is a recap of how the season ended:

Many of you saw this buck named Lacarpetron Dookmarriott (Not my choice). He was high on our hit list and we thought he was a 3.5 y/o. He ended up trying to hug a 7/8 oz piece of copper during our gun season.
    IMG_0885.jpg
Turns out he was a 123" 2 1/2 y/o, which would have been nice for this season but he came through fast and not many people pass a 10 when they have no time to decide! We got 270 pictures of this deer and he was the closest we have ever been to a buck and first we have killed after getting pictures of!

We did have some more bucks show up last year that I may not have shown
    IMG_0763.jpg IMG_0917.jpg IMG_0881.jpg IMG_0882.jpg IMG_0892.jpg

I hunted into late november with my bow but after 125 hrs in a tree stand I got a little trigger happy and shot a doe fawn. Wasn't big but its QDMA and the steaks taste great:)
    IMG_0931.jpg

Some of you may also remember this buck called sticks, he is about a 135" main frame 10 with a sticker on his right side.
    IMG_0493.jpg
Well my wonderful Black Lab Leo found his right shed in a foodplot after I spent a total of 15 minutes training him the night before:)
    IMG_1091.jpg IMG_1092.jpg
We also found 3 other sheds on the farm, the 4 pt side was found by my buddies dog in the thickest canary grass you can imagine.
    IMG_1088.jpg IMG_1178.jpg IMG_1179.jpg IMG_1180.jpg
The smaller two sheds are a matched set from a buck that I think I have a few trail cam pics from. That wraps up the 2014 hunting season and the 14-15 shed season. I will try to post some trail cam pics from some bucks this year in the next couple days, my photo uploader is going slow so I may have to start using photo bucket.
