How often do you check your trail cameras this time of year? I average about every two weeks checking mine and wonder if that is to often. Just wondering what your thoughts were.

Do you worry about tracking through to much and pushing deer away?

I worried I might be checking too much but by the looks of things I'm not checking any more than most. I replenish corn every check and mineral when needed.

Ha, sometimes daily if I'm working at the farm. All of them in low impact areas thst I can check from an ATV. Going for a week this week, only because I'm at the beach.

I've got to move a camera to one place I hunt near my house, it'll soak much longer.

I check mine every two weeks until it gets close to season then I let them sit for the whole month leading up to the season. I'm actually thinking of moving them around next time change cards, have a couple kind of close to stands and want to remove them to stay away from stands until season starts.

About once every 10 days. All but one is in what I would consider a low impact area.

I used to be a once every 10-14 days kind of guy. I've turned into more of a once every 30 days or "whenever I get to it" kind of guy. IMO there's no use disturbing these areas or getting chewed up my mosquitos for no reason. If the deer are there, they're there. If not, checking my cameras every few days isn't going to change that.

Every 30 days, the only one I check more frequent is the one in my yard bc I have to drive right past it when mowing my back field. I usually check it every 10-14 days when I have to mow. There's no intrusion and I don't even have to get off the mower.
