hahah well now you just gotta hope they come the rest of the way and ones a toad. Good luck though get it done.
I passed on a tom with a 6 or so inch beard and then 2 yotes ruined my sit. I did see a another group of 10 with 2 toms and a mix of hens and jakes. Two real nice toms by themselves. And 2 more nice toms with 2 hens. All of which came in from different directions. LOL! This doesn't include the 25 plus birds (3 different fields I saw on the way there. This place is 9 miles from my house. I am going to try it in the PM tomorrow. I'll setup about 50 yards from where I set today. If I'd been using a shotgun I would of had it done twice.
Dunno, I would speculate some time in June. Looking good for us so far! I will be in the field later today if I have it my way!
We've been having severe thunderstorms, floods, and high winds, this past couple days here. About leveled the town of Penn Yan. After it clears up ( hopefully tomorrow) I'll be back out.
I've been in the field since a tad past 1PM CST. Wouldn't you know it. A gobbler was at full strut 49 yards from where I was going to sit. I snuck in on the other side of the draw about 125 yards from where he was at. All has been quite. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
