Nice bird scarps. I went out this morning to do some scouting to pinpoint exactly were the turkeys were and I heard at least 10. Season here in Missouri opens tomorrow morning so hopefully I can bag one of them birds.

I've spent the last three days taking other guys out, killed four birds in three days. I finally get a chance to hunt tomorrow morning. Hopefully my luck continues.
Got thunderstormed out Sunday morning before shooting light, made for an interesting run for the truck. I was directly under two roosted birds gobbling their fool heads off too. Oh well they got pardoned for a week. lol
How it going for everyone? Any luck or still waiting to get out there? My season got cut short at the last minute because I finally got the call that I got the job at gander mountain! So training starts this week and is during most of the time i would've hunted. I will still get out for a day, so how hopefully that's all I need. I will do my best to put one down for you guys. Out right now. No birds yet. Went out yesterday morning. Only saw one hen and a deer. I hunt out of a stationary box blind so sometimes they are around you and sometimes not. Close call Saturday, had a dandy and 2 hens at 10 yds I wasn't in a blind though and they showed up before I could even get settled. So I was stuck there eye to eye and couldn't get my bow drawn. lol Sunday morning I never even heard a bird (was windy though) One hen showed.... i gave up and took the kids fishin lol

I managed to get a couple of shotgun kills for a couple of new hunters so that was a good thing because they are hooked. Every time I went out by myself I didn't have any luck. I have this weekend left to hunt so hopefully I can get lucky and put one down.
I have Saturday left to hunt, if I dont seal the deal I will post my first bird to the scorecard Saturday night.
