I'll post the pics for the scorecard later, but I had an awesome hunt again today. Ended up hammering this gobbler at 40 yards while he was in full strut.

I forgot to post this earlier. I went with a good friend today to try and help him kill his first bird. He finally got a shot on a nice gobbler and made it count. It was an awesome morning. Got to watch a 4th bird go down in the past 3 days. Good times.

 

I'm taking an Amish boy out in the morning to see if we can get him his first bird.

 

What happen to god, family, country, and team being first? :p Good luck tomorrow! I get just as excited or maybe more when I mentor someone and they are successful. Especially their first harvest!

 

I know... I know... but the kid is almost like family (and you have that ahead of team).
I'm hoping 2 Toms come in and we can shoot at the same time - him shotgun, me bow. That would be the ideal.
