Hey guys, my names Jimmy, pretty avid bowhunter living in northern Illinois. Im 20 years old, got 7 deer under my belt along with a whole lotta catfish and rabbits haha. Would love to meet up with some fellow archers and do some 3d shoots this summer, or some bowfishing. Not sure of many places that have a course other than one on the IL/WI border and not the faintest idea about where to go for bowfishing other than the Illinois river. Looking foward to meeting some good people on the sight and gaining some more information. -Jimmy

Welcome to the site! Midwest Cimmeron in Richmond has a great 3D course that you can go shoot anytime! You can also check the websites for Kenosha Bowmen & Waukegan Bowmen both have 3D shoots all the time. Like Alissa already said if you want to meet a lot of locals come out to the shoot that we have on June 7th in Garden Prairie. Check the Get Together Shoot section for all the details!
Thanks man, and whereabouts? I hear its the land of the giants there haha. My old man leased some land in Oregon Il off the rock river that we had for a few years, I wonder if that rivers down by you too

Welcome to the site Im from illinois in grundy / lasalle county if your ever out this way let me know ill shoot with ya. I know of a ton of outdoor ranges for free and a ton of 3d places as well. i shoot on a 3d mathews team for strickley archery pro shop. Or if you ever wanna hunt some public land also let me know i hunt alone lol i just moved out here to this county and i havent met anyone besides the guys i work for and the guys on our 3d team but most of them dont hunt just shoot . I also bow fish the illinois river being i basicly live on it it literally runs through my back yard lol there also some awesome creeks that run off the river great for bowfishing and fishing for smallies and walleye.
