Ready to go. Plenty of turkeys around. Been looking forward to turkey hunting after struggling last year. Let's just say getting the turkeys to come in range wasn't a problem. Hit two and didn't recover them. It was only my second year hunting turkeys with a bow. First year I hit one and it flipped over dead. Last year I got an education on where to not hit them. I bought my turkey bow tag in January. Really looking forward to changing last years luck. Here is a video of some turkeys in the area I hunt. Hopefully it loaded correctly.
Bought my tags this morning, I will be hunting in Wisconsin from 5/7-5/13. Can't wait to get out there and try and get my first bird down. Sent from my iPhone
HERE I'm excited for this. This is my first year on bowhunting.com and my first little tournament. Although there aren't any Toms in the picture, I saw plenty during deer season

Where there are hens, there will be toms. Then comes a big thwack from an arrow on the big old thunder chicken. Our bow season runs from 4/14 - 5/18. Less than a month away. I really love the turkey hunting.
That's right scarps23. Our season is 4/12 - 5/10. Here is a little something I put in this year to help increase my chances. It may not look like much, but busting and leveling a 1/4 acre with a pick ax and shovel wasn't an easy task. BTW, this is only about half of it, I finished it last week but forgot to take a picture. I'm sowing the Imperial Whitetail Clover in there Friday when I get home from school. What do yall think?
Our season starts next Tuesday 3/25. I am taking off that Friday to see what I can knock down. I also have a 4 day hunt scheduled for the end of April just in case. I am so ready for hunting again. This has been the longest winter ever. Good lock to everyone.
Just got WI tag and license in the mail today! Im ready to get out there and try and put down my first bird. A little under 2 months until I get to hunt.
What is your new rig? As far as names go, I will try and come up with some ideas but they may not be very good lol
