I ice fish a decent amount. Overall its been a slow winter. Besides last weekend, I was on Erie wanting to get all the pics before sharing them.
Before this year I've never been ice fishing. My dad and I got out quite a bit. I love it! Nothing like catching 62 perch in one morning!! But I'm with Ferg, I'm ready for some open water! My first ever fish that I pulled through the ice
Only ice fished once this year! About 3 hours worth. Spent easily 40+ hours plowing the ice-road, and getting the ihouse on/off the lake. ... something's wrong here.

I agree! I caught a jumbo the other day but it was pregnant so I threw it back. We like to check for eggs on the fatter ones.

That is what it's all about! I kind of agree with Fitz and hold little interest in ice fishing but summer is on its way.
