    This will be a thread that I will keep up to date with trail camera pics and habitat improvements and other random stuff that we are doing on our farm. The farm is roughly 550 acres with a lot of tillable acreage.

    Ha, the boot shaped piece at the bottom makes me laugh....I can't help but thinking there must have been an interesting story behind that part of the farm.

    Looks like a potentially breathtaking property. The right mix and proportions of brush and fields....paradise in the making.

    Tell us some history;

    Any food plots, history of bucks, water on property, etc.,.

    Looks like a great place and a perfect spot to grow and hold some nice bucks.

    lol yea this all used to be bartering property for a coal mine that they would trade for the land they wanted, that piece is actually a 30yr old grown up field. and everything to the south is public land.

    not much any more most that did were out of staters that were cluless as to where the property lines were, and just around gun season.

    You and me both brother, we are absolutely over run with coyotes and raccoons here. I pulled a card today and had three yotes in frame four times two weeks apart and five coons in fame every night. My management on predators has been way too low, may have to bring in some help if any can be found and learn trapping.

    Good looking farm Austin! I also hunt a lot in Jefferson County. My fience's family has a couple different properties that I hunt NE of Mt Vernon and have a buddy that has some just west of Woodlawn. A lot of good bucks in the area.
